I don’t care. Send out any other reliever. Hoffman can’t handle the pressure of the 9thVarland has been used a ton

At least they got the sac fly twice which is better than earlier in the season where they would have gotten nothing.Bats were awful with RISP
He's still a Jays in his heartThanks, Joey.
Let's not say this again this year please.Back to .500.![]()
Ain't all people from Arkansas cold blooded murderers? I swear when i was young 97% of all true crime episodes the killer was from the bible belt.It surprises me to find out that Straw is from California, because I always figured he was from, like, Georga or Arkansas or something like that.

All the more reason to get Chapmon now before someone else nabs him. We can't be wearing Varland down as we have used him alot already, I agree.Jays are one game ahead in the WC.
One thing that worries me is Varland. He has pitched a lot, and he needs some rest.
If Bieber is even as good as a #2 or 3 give us one of best starting pitching in baseball. With Y, Cease and Gausman.I think with Bieber, we shouldn't look at him as a Cy Young caliber pitcher. Just because he won one in a COVID shortened season, doesn't mean we should view him as a legit ace. He is probably more like a #2 or #3. And that's ok.

He's on a one-year deal at 13.3 for the season. Aah, just realized he's got a vesting option for next year at the same salary that kicks in if he hits 40 innings this year, which is a given. He'd easily be our best left-handed option out of the bullpen. He might be slipping, but having him, Rogers, and Varland would give us more options for high-leverage roles. Also moves Hoffman down the pole even more, which can only help. How long will Chapman last? He’s 38, velo dropped almost 2mph from last season, and we may have just killed him as that’s now back to back appearances with runs given up/loss taken.
I think a better left handed option is Tiedemann. If he’s healthy he could take over as the best lefty option out of the pen. He's on a one-year deal at 13.3 for the season. Health is a major concern with him. However, if he is healthy, he definitely would be an option instead.I think a better left handed option is Tiedemann. If he’s healthy he could take over as the best lefty option out of the pen.
Definitely. The organization should know in the next month how is health is.Health is a major concern with him. However, if he is healthy, he definitely would be an option instead.
