I think he has a legit chance to be a C at the next lvl.

Dagenais is definitely the best C on the board by a significant margin, and my pick here. Only other guy I'd really be looking at is Novotny.

Preston is all flash no substance, Shilov couldn't find compete in the dictionary, Mutryn i dont see being more than a 4th liner, and the Rucks arent a package deal

I'm not super thrilled with anyone(though to be fair I didnt do a massive amount of research on a lot of these guys), of course the draft order went right down the consensus ranking, so I'm hoping someone better drops to us.

But I voted Novotny

Just check out his elite prospects profile page--Novotny's considered by a lot of draft sites to be about a mid 1st round pick--pretty much in the 15 to 18 range. If he's there he's fallen the most. I think the general opinion of most draft analysts would be that he's the BPA of this list. Big body physical player with some scoring ability.....pretty much does everything well. The other two I really like here are Dagenais and Villeneuve.

Villeneuve was previously drafted (21st OA to Philly), but added to the list by mistake.

Otherwise, I would be all over him with this pick.
