They've had as easy a Cup run as I've ever seen. Vegas is the hardest team they've faced and this version of Vegas is good but not great.

Don’t hate the guy he just doesn’t seem to have the mentality for the playoffs. When played physically he doesn’t battle back, he’s soft and tends to float around the perimeter. Wish it weren’t true but that what I saw last two playoffs.

I don't hate Necas, but he better f***ing figure out how to get to the middle of the ice next postseason. He's one of our biggest players, no reason for him to stick to the outside.

West went on a long run from 07-15 winning 7/9 too with Chicago and LA winning 5 of those. Happens when you get dominant runs by teams

Eichel had a very underwhelming playoffs. He piled up bunch of points against Utah and Anaheim, then was invisible in CF and finals. I guess he only had that one big goal against us and that’s about it

He was underwhelming in the SCF.

He had a good first two rounds, then 3 points in 4 games vs us and helped slow MacKinnon down tremendously at 5v5.

He and Marner disappearing in games 5 and 6 killed Vegas. There's only so long you can rely on Brett Howden's unsustainable goal scoring before it bites you in the ass if your big boys don't step up and take charge.

Eichel is still a fantastic player, but he's never going to be a playoff beast with his artificial disc replacement.

In retrospect it was the right choice, but he's never going to lay his body on the line to make a play. The potential consequences for him are significantly worse if he puts himself in a vulnerable situation.

At least i can live with Carolina winning it all. They deserved it and had great run. Doesnt matter if this was probably on of the easiest path to a cup in the last few years. They were hungry and got it done.

Still pissed our "golden boys" decided to pack it in in the WCF...
