If the topic is the USA playing Russia in a summit series . The only realistic way this will ever happen is if it is the KHL us players vs the KHL Russian players.

Feel free to quote me when the tkachuks and Matthews are getting on a plane to Moscow in summer. I'm sure it is a top priority for them.

Problem with Russia (other than its dictator) is the lack of center depth and defense high-end talents, two things americans have in spades. Russia have high end talents both on wings and in goals, but unless Vasilevsky or Shersterskin become red hot and back stop everything, they are f***ed.

I'd rank them equal to Finland; they have more world class talents than Finland, but Finland have much better centers and is deeper overall IMO
