they got an upgraded 4th and a 5th, not a 7th.

Swayman was a 4th rounder, same with Danton Heinen.

Arvidsson was a 4th round pick, Kuraly was a 5th round pick, Kastelic was a 5th round pick, Eyssimont was a 5th round pick, Swayman was a 4th round pick, Blumel was a 4th round pick.
Brunet and Locmelis should both see the ice in Boston this year as 4th round picks.
Didn’t take a lot of research to find out the last time a 4th rounder or later played for the Bruins was the last game they played.

I was convinced that Vancouver wanted to offload 100% of his contract.

I had heard the same from previous management but this is a group that may move Debrusk, Boeser and Pettersson to tear it all down.

You think it would take much more eh? They are dying to move Petey, Zacha and Boser seem like a wash then a first etc for Hronek. I'd give them parts not named Letourneau. To me it's not an all in move as the most valuable asset you are adding is a first.

Pettersson Retained 25% is worth a Lysell and a 1st.
Hronek is worth a 1st.
Boeser is worth a Mittelstadt and another dump.

Pettersson retained is the perfect target once we see what McTavish and company are going to cost. Love him as a player but that is a steep price the Bruins cannot afford. We gotta keep shopping for reclamation projects while the re-tool continues.

I'm with you; Zacha is more valuable than Boeser. Don't want to lose either prospect so keeping them involves bargain shopping.

I agree with you 100%. Or, hold a one-round supplementary draft for over-agers in reverse draft order each year. If nobody drafts you in rounds 1-3 in your standard draft year, you are eligible again at 19 in the supplemental draft. After that: ufas

Something around Kyrou and Lohrei seems to make sense.

Kryou has the resume, Lohrei is 3 years younger and cheaper.

Not sure what adds need to happen, but adding a 30 goal winger is kind of a necessity, IMO.
