I wasn't able to download EP's draft guide yesterday due to internet shenanigans. I am looking at it today and see they have Timofei Runtso as their #47 pick. He's a 6'2.5" RHD with some skill. Put up 0.65 PPG in the WHL last season. They project him as a #4 in the NHL and say he's a bit raw but is starting to fine tune his game.

That doesn't really address our biggest needs, obviously, but he sounds like the sort of player who Detroit would target.

Elite Prospects has him rated as the #55 prospect. So if
,
he's someone you really like, you should probably take him with the #47 pick. He's likely not lasting until pick #79.
Overager , but sounds intriguing ,

I’d rather have 6’6 23 yr old edvinsson than 32 yr old 6 foot weegar.

I like asp’s potential more than current weegar

He’s not getting 45-50 pts again. When I hear weegar I just don’t see someone worth 3 2nds
Three 2nd round picks are all likely to be career AHL guys…Weegar is a legit top 4 Dman on a good team and likely our 2nd best guy just after Mo.

As would I - however if it were Weegar for three 2nd round picks - I'm taking Weegar and not looking back.
I’d rather keep the 3 2nds especially after today. I regretted chiarots extention day it happened even more now 😂 doubt anyone would take him in a trade x3

Chiarot is fine as a #4 thru #6 Dman.

EDIT - after seeing "after today" - my spider senses started tingling - didn't know until 2 minutes ago that DBoss wants out.

Absolute monster and he plays that way (physical).
Low point totals last year. But put up video game type offensive numbers at prep school the year before.

Got better as the year went on in London.
Hunter was using him in the playoffs as top shutdown defenseman against Soo’s top line (Brady Martin).

Project player, but man is he intriguing.

If we get multiple second round picks I'd be happy to get him
How is his skating

Ya he’s someone I’m looking at + he’s really young which I like so more upside

At 47 they are bound to pick another Cleveland... and from what I've seen Samuel Eriksson is basically the Swedish equivalent so I would bet this is who they pick.

Are they? Cleveland was the only way out there reach they have drafted so I don't think they are likely to make that kind of pick. They haven't made many good non 1st round picks, but Cleveland is the only one way out there.

These guys he has ranked between 6 and 15 all sound like they could be interesting for us.
That Roobroeck rating is outrageous.
I get he has fallen from grace and probably rightly so… but 14th of OHL prospects puts him in the 3rd or 4th round.

He would have gone top 10 last year. Missed the cutoff date by 2 weeks. He is still going early 2nd at worst IMO.

So sick and tired to hear about all this Larkin nonsense, here's the video about next draft

And if you want to hear more about Larkin go to 38 minutes mark.
Wonder now if Marcus Ruck going to be available at 47

Pronman dropped a list where he had McKenna/Stenberg at 4/5 today…. Interesting.

I feel like over the years he has incorporated what he’s hearing around the league into his rankings. Wonder if that means anything here.

Don't see Vanhanen at all. I am probably not good at prospect evaluation
