As the saying goes “knowledge is good” and with that I’m a fan of Elton Hermansson.

I don’t see him getting to 23 but I didn’t have that view a few days ago but was like of familiarity with this player.

Another player I’ve taken a deep dive on is Casey Mutryn. He’s a RW but reminds me of a right shot Dean Letourneau. He’s ’only’ 6’3 but this kid is a power forward and he’s got hands and he goes to the front of the net like he owns it.

What a shock he’s going to BC

He’s super mature

Probably to early at 23

The two guys though at RW who many like would be fantastic at 23

Hurlbert & Klepov

Command, Hurlbert, and Klepov would all be valid picks at 23. I think Preston is probably overrated. I would take Liam Ruck over that guy. And I still think it would be a great play if we could draft both of the Ruck brothers.
Bang on - I’d guess Command goes in mid teens and with 2 picks Washington grabs two of Lin, Klepov, or Morozov.

Hurlbert could be there at 23 but the Penguins are the pick before and there is buzz they like him

How about,Ryan Roobroeck from the Niagara Ice dogs ,now I only went to a few games this season,I seen central scouting had him rated at 28th ,would give me more incentive to go to more games this season if the Bruins drafted him.To watch him develop more.

A bunch of folks have said he's lazy and doesn't have the drive. Someone from his hometown said his dad is a cop who was an insane hockey parent that knocked the love of the game out of him. He rented out rinks on Halloween and made him practice instead of trick or treating.

Kind of sad but when it comes to the Bruins, avoid him at all costs with that 1st round pick.

I don’t know much about him was impressed with him the few games I watched, and noticed he was ranked 28th by central scouting,no idea if this is true about his dad ,or him being a lazy player 3 games isn’t a good testament to judge that.

If you are going to roll the dice on either there it has to be Preston first IMO, but I go Marcus Nordmark over both, easily.

Of the 7 you listed I would take 3 over Piipinaren
Piiparinen has good size (6-2, 204), and is a right shot D but there’s players who will be available before Id consider taking him at 23 and it Seems like his playing time was sheltered somewhat this past season.

He registered only three assists in 10:15 of avg. ice time in 29 games with Tappara in Liiga.

He had an assist, a plus-6 rating and averaged 13:27 of ice time in four games for Finland at the 2026 WJ.

He’d be a great pick if he was still on the board with their second, but with all of the holes this team has, I don’t want to see them take a flyer on a player in the first when there’s going to be better players with more upside on the board.

My views evolve based on additional research for this draft

Where I’m at 6/15/2026 8:00 AM EST

1. Piipinaren I believe will go in the first round

2. There will most likely be a F available I would take over him (Hurlbert is one example)

3. If the Bruins sign Raddysh it’s going to be 6 years so im not drafting Piipanaren and picking one of the handful of F I expect to be there

4. If the Bruins resign Arvidsson (45/55) and Zacha (95/5) I’m drafting Piiparinen or Bleyl but still leaning Piip

Mutryn is an interesting one. Looks like he's projected as an early 2nd round pick, but a guy who could jump up into the end of the 1st round. I'm interested to see what they do in this draft. I'd love to get a high skill guy, but I also could see Sweeney & Co taking a guy like Adam Goljer. A 6'3 / RHD whose scouting report reads like a Brandon Carlo type player.

Agree - but I’ll be irritated

I would be happy if the Bruins drafted Villeneuve, Klepov, Hurlbert, Hextall, or Cover.

Regardless, there should be a decent prospect available at #23.
