2025 World Juniors

On the one hand, kind of a let down the last couple games for ASP given where he started the tournament? At least offensively.

On the other hand ... I think some expectations (including mine) were probably really out of whack after that first game. He still had 10 points as a defenseman and was solid defensively.

To be fair, the whole Swedish team took their foot off the gas against Finland and Czechia.

They got goalied by two good goalies. And Sweden’s goalies couldn’t compensate for it.

I will take the best D since Lidstrom even if he's not the best D since Orr

I'm not discouraged by the past two games. He wasn't playing Slovakia and Borat's native country in the medal round. He had to play an arch rival and a Czech team that, I thought, was capable of gold.

We're in agreement on your 2nd point though :thumbu:

We have three guys with a chance to make the all star team if there is one

Great tournament. Big win for Augustine. USA’s defense this year was the weakest I can remember but they pulled it off.

Trolls on here should be punching air that their boy Eiserman played less than 10 minutes in a game that went to OT.

Thank you Finland, great tournament. Congrats USA, we get you next year.

Great tournament for Wings prospects, all of them in big roles, well 3 of them at least and almost everyone went home with a medal.

Damn, Finland was good. Also played better hockey at the final, but those damn lucky bounces favored USA.
