What was that fall by Hagens on the backcheck as the rush went the other way for the goal? Like he lost footing with the stick lift attempt but it looked like a shitty impression of a dive

First time I got to watch ASP yesterday.

Such a smooth skater, excellent first pass. He was a break out guru always finding the right play. Played a bit of a meaner game than I had expected too. More often than not tried making contact. After every whistle in the defensive zone he would give the opposition a little shove or cross check.

Obviously his vision on the PP is second to none. That Willander kid too played a really strong game. His shot I think clocked at a higher speed than ASP’s. He will be a good one for Canucks one day.

Anyone know what sort of system Finland is using for their PP? Kinda odd looking, where they end up with three players across the blue line a lot 🤔

After a comment like that, you need to follow up with what the trade would entail.
We have already Edvinsson and Seider and if true first line player is available we should consider. ASP is my #1 prospect and we should not shop him, but if someone big available we should consider

Maybe I'm too high on ASP, but the only players we should consider moving him for are top 20 in the league. Otherwise, I'd personally rather see if he can be our version of Q. Hughes or Makar.

I think yzerman is building back to front, center out. ASP is that rare prospect that gives you the defense and that offensive threat of a high end winger. He's more valuable than other prospects that only produce offense.

Buch would be a perfect prospect to pump and dump for big game, but I'd rather see what he can do first.

Both should be given chance to show what they can do. I don't like the idea of pump and dump. Imagine we did it with Datsyuk, no. If prospect doing good and he is good in the locker room we should not trade him.
If there is a chance for example Werenski available id trade ASP for him.

Werenski is too expensive compared to asp. We are going to need his cost controls. I'd do buch+ in a package for EP40 and not look back. Center depth is needed. Wingers come and go.

Datsyuk was/is one of my favorite players but buch is no datsyuk.

Datsyuk was 23 when he started playing in NHL, Buchelnikov only 21, ASP 19, Danielson 20,
Look at Veleno, just a month ago Veleno 24 was useless, but now he's looking pretty good in the first line. We don't know how good our top prospects are, they are too young
