It's a very small country , only 5.5 million population
I get that, but that country of 5.5 million people used to be able to hang with the best teams in every international tournament. Those days are long gone. I think Finland's entire developmental system has regressed a little while the rest of the world has gotten a little better.

It is all about global warming. Finland is losing their winter ice.

Hoping to see another big performance from ASP today, can’t wait to watch him live for the first time of what I’m sure will be the first of many more to come!

Eklund tip goal from ASP shot. If Wings are in the 7-9 range I wonder if they take him. He's smaller but is physical and can score.

Not terribly small, either. He's listed at 5'11 just like his brother. Just kinda... average ish.

But, yeah: very good skill level, battles super hard, doesn't shy away from physical play. I'm a big fan. I'm sure teams are going to be enamored with the ultra high upside guys like Martone and Misa, so they'll go first, but Eklund could be there at 5 or 6.

I’ve been saying the past 2 years ASP is a top 5 prospect not in the NHL and people scoff at that. He’s unreal, all the little things he does are what makes him so good, and his skating and strength is only going to go up.
What really stands out to me is how fast he processes the game. He has a plan because he understands exactly what is happening on the ice, then something changes and a third of a second later he has an entirely new plan.

As much as I like ASP, should we use him as trade bate.
My take?
No.
