We have 4 players participating this year:

Austin Burnevik (USA)
Vojtech Port (CZE)
Carey Terrance (USA)
Darels Uljanskis (LAT)

Pre-tournament games have already started, and the actual tournament starts on December 26 (schedule here).
Not really much for us to watch in terms of prospects.

Terrance seems more like a depth piece for USA.... Guess its a good chance to see Uanskis and Port, and see what type of game/potential they might have.

Burnevik is prob the most exciting guy we have there.

There are some 2025 Draftees to keep an eye on such as C Hagens (USA), RW Martone (CAN), LD Schaefer (CAN), and RD Hensler (USA).

Don’t forget C Michal Misa on Canada. Was hoping he was someone Ducks could nab, as he was in Saginaw during Minty’s final season there when he put up monster numbers, so maybe some chemistry can be rekindled. Should be a top 5 pick, which sounded plausible for Ducks but there’s actually plenty of teams being worse so far, so knows.

Misa isn’t on team Canada. He wasn’t even invited to camp.

He was egregiously left off the camp roster, despite leading the CHL in goals with a well rounded overall game

I'm excited to see Burnevik play, honestly think he will rise up our prospect rankings by next season a decent amount. From what I've read, seems like USA are putting him in a pretty decent position to excel at the WJCs too.

It’s absolutely confounding that Sennecke isn’t here
Or maybe we've been drinking the Verbeek Kool-Aid a little too long?

I certainly have high hopes for the kid but this team has yet to prove they know how to draft forwards. Most people thought he was a reach where we took him. I'm willing to give him and the team time to prove others wrong, but I'm hardly telling the world Verbeek is a genius and the rest of you don't know what your doing.

Burnevik has some skill, but he looks like he moves in slow motion.

Yeah there's really not much pace or urgency to him, big kid with soft hands. He's a project.

Terrance does a lot of underlying things well. He's not going to be a star for us but he can become a speedy, gritty defensive C. Quick first steps and always supporting the puck

While I agree with your points completely, and even for this – imo you're not wrong that it does have to come to fruition, Sennecke does look like he will be a heck of a player. From what I've seen (not a credible assesment  but I have been on the right side for a lot of prospects, imo) Sennecke should be among our best players from our current system.
