Haven't followed the tournament and I don't know much about prospects outside the habs ones but this team Canada seems to lack individual quality. Looks like a bunch of system players who don't know how to improvise and adapt to their teammates. Best on best tournies are usually about individual quality no matter the sport, no time to practice fancy systems and set plays.
Are these the top guys at their respective position or did management try to galaxy brain that shit and failed?
Edit: Oh and they score
"niCk RobeRtSoN is BeTTeR tHaN caUfiElD"At this point the cowan misses are comical.
Pretty sure this year will be Martone's only appearance in this tournament. I expect him to be in the NHL next year.
Nice to see some traffic. And not Cowan
MSL does that?

It's been a while since Hockey Canada built their team around the 12 best forward/6 best Dman philosophy. What they do now is pick 3-4 guys identify them as their "stars" then stack the team with "toolsy" guys to surround them.
Suzuki, Caufield and Hutson were all meh during this tourney, Poehling was greatI thought Cowen played well in preseason vs the Habs.
Shouldn't he be dominating in this tourney?
I think college would really have been best for him; he's a really great prospect, but I think the NHL would be too fast for him currently.
I actually think so too.We are winning this. Czech have been on the PK all 2nd period. Can't imagine how bad it will be in the 3rd. We are winning.
Cole Hutson also have been great. Great Pick by the Caps in the second round. GM and scout are dumb from not drafting him in the first round.Yep really impressive, with his age and smaller frame
