2025 World Junior Championship discussion thread

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Well....it had to finish that way.....and it would have finished earlier without Rimpinen.

But Finland needs to practice those..lol

This is perfect though. Next year, IN THE US, while they are there as Twice Champion....you go there and beat them.

If we can pick properly our players......

And we play in the same group as Sweden and US....lol

It will be the same mental midgets picking players. Unless the US and Sweden are weak teams Canada is screwed.

That has to be the most one sided 3v3 I've seen in this tournament.
The Finns could not take advantage of their odd man advantages because they were exhausted from chasing.
You could see that break away happening a couple of seconds before it occurred that Dman was beat coming out of the zone.

ASP ahead of Hutson for D? Both great D...but would have given it to Cole.

They can't do the same thing. If they think they are scrutinized...can't imagine what it will be next year.

The US have 9 returning players and understand how continuity is supposed to work.
What was it 11 players this year that is just sick.
