Unlike Canadian goalies i suppose? When playing Latvia I'd like to believe goaltending is not the strategy.

Too many dinosaur coaches killing the game.
George should be the #1 goalie. He wasn't in net in the Latvia game. Canada was so bad offensively in the Latvia game they had to rely on the goaltender.

Good 1st period between Finland & USA. Finland playing with more jump & physically.

Haltunnen has been a big disappointment, though.

1-1 after 1. Shots 15-14 USA.

Finnish goaltender Rimpinen wasn't drafted in 2024. He should be drafted this year. He's not big (6'0), but he's really athletic.

Isn't it funny how 6'0 isn't big for a goalie now, but most HOF'ers were total shrimps by what they expect today lol (Dryden the exception) Roy, Hasek, Belfour, Brodeur, then the rest .. Vernon, Fuhr, Vachon and Billy Smith total smurfs

Been a big fan of Leonard. A lot. But I can't wait to see both guys progression between Leonard and Perreault....not sure it will end up the way I thought...
I think Perreault will be the best player personally

i know we're stacked at LHD

id still take cole hutson in 2025
Then you would have to make a trade cause we had no pick to take him. Our pick was traded by MB in the Dvorak trade.

It's crazy that they stopped playing i think the rule is the same in the NHL.

It is & Leonard didn't know because he was signaling for off-side. He also was waving it off for the ref until he had a conversation with his coach at the bench.

Leonard is going to the better organization. He'll fit perfectly into their system, too.

I'm not sure what's going on in New York, but young players are often benched in favor of the veterans.
