SWE is gonna be a really good team, but theyre not exactly overflowing with offensive talent. lot of smart two-way guys, lot of big physical bodies up front. this could be a great opportunity for traff to lean more into those power forward elements and really push to be one of the teams top goal scorers

shame pikkarainens been injured all season. im not sure FIN would definitely have taken him, but theyve historically liked him for international tournaments, and i think that size/skill wouldve been enticing to have down the wing or even in a depth role

tuned into canada finland for less than 10 seconds....ya, i cant do it. tsn is even worse than it usually is when it comes to international games.

that said, i hope canada shits the bed this tournament and their fans feel as much disappointment as possible.

would rather watch the bears/seahawks game that's about to start

It’s kind of nice not to worry about this tournament anymore.
Yeah I know, right?

I'm glad Bratt declined an invitation to play (because of *cough* *cough* Medical concerns *cough*) as the last thing we want is for him to get injured here.

Of course there's always the 4 nations faceoff thing (whatever that is) in February but we'll cross that bridge when we reach it....
