Some weird stuff is going on with his transfer. This third party company hasn’t paid, so he isn’t training with his new team. Why are non footballing teams even allowed to buy players on behalf of teams?

These same clowns want Mastantuono

Ian subriabre being scouted by Chelsea and Brighton. He has a 30 million release clause.

Chelsea would loool he would be beyond a surplus for them just to loan him out

Hasn’t stopped them from hoarding before.

Brighton would just do what they always do and get their finders fee. Probably from Chelsea

At this point I don’t think they have any intention in developing or playing these kids. Simply money making scheme.

They don’t. It’s just like getting scratch off lottery tickets. It’s a victimless crime and I’m sure whoever they get aren’t complaining about the pay checks but no one is signing there because they want to be a Chelsea player. Which honestly (although I’ll get tarred and feathered for saying it) is fine especially for Chelsea.

Look at the CM turnover alone. They were never going to give Ugochukwu a legit chance, they are already sick of Lavia, but they’ll just bring in Santos from Strasbourg, loan someone back to replace them and start the carousel again.

Also it’s kind of funny how everyone gave LFC stick for using Southampton, and now Chelsea are using them as a haven and there hasn’t been a peep about it. Keep an eye on that Chelsea/Southampton/Strasbourg triangle

Shakhtar Donetsk drop 17 mil for Fluminense 18 yo striker Kaua Elias. Not bad for a country at war.

After barely playing in the Netherlands, City loan out Kayky back to Brazil at Bahia

After barely playing in Greece, Panathinaikos loan ou Tonny Vilhena to Turkey at Alanyaspor

Spartak drop 18.7 mi for AEK striker Levi Garcia. Not bad for a country at war.

Ludogorets sell their striker Rwan Cruz back to Brazil at Botafogo for 10 mil. Great business for the Bulgarians as they got him on a free one year ago.

“Sick of Lavia” is hilarious, given that he’s been a nailed-on starter anytime he hasn’t been in hospital.

I’ve said many times on this board that Chelsea’s youth transfer policy is very clearly akin to the building of a financial portfolio, with players thought of as assets whose values will creep up and can then be flipped.

We will see what happens, especially when Santos is in town next season. Just got that kid from St. Etienne too, and they won’t stop from there. Clock is ticking. You think Caicedo is going to be full time RB?

I just assumed the strategy WAS financially motivated and sporting success/quality a secondary benefit.
