Wee Baby Seamus
Yo, Goober, where's the meat?
This is it. It was a no brainer because he's a fairly mobile centre back who can pass the ball alright. They needed warm bodies who also are closer to being a stylistic fit than their two backup CBs (Davies, who is obviously a converted LB, and Dragusin, a signing who made zero sense stylistically given the very specific tactical role CBs play in Spurs' system).I can't really blame Spurs. They obviously need a body, especially with Dragusin out for the season now. They were already playing a kid midfielder at CB and while VDV is back, they can't expect him to be able to play every few days for the next three weeks, although, to be fair, Spurs' schedule doesn't really lend itself to resting CBs
To be like "LOL SPURS SIGNED A GUY WHO WAS GONNA GO TO WOLVES" misses that what Spurs needed desperately was depth.
