Transfer: 2025 Winter Transfer Window - Rumors and Discussion

I meant back up, but brain farted when I wrote that lol.
If I am Mbeumo I’m not trying to go be a backup anywhere

Different circumstances. Neymars body broke down. KK doesn’t have those issues. However, I think buy should beware. Has he played like 100M player? Seems like he’s trending down for 2 years but they are selling him as the hyped kid he was a couple of years ago.
Yeah I mean I’m not heartbroken if it doesn’t happen. As I said, I think it speaks to larger issues about LFC’s transfer policy, but I wouldn’t say this is a sure thing either way

I assure you, this is not lost on me whatsoever. This definitely matters, but who knows maybe he really wants to play with his best friend Mamardashvili? Maybe he wants to play in Champions League this season past the group stage, maybe he wants to be on the current PL favorite? It’ll just depends what he priorities are. But it’s hard to fault the player if he wants to go to Paris. I certainly would not say no to going to Paris

Again I just go back to LFC’s transfer policy where they basically have decided that they only hunting for unicorns. Which is a fine policy ONLY IF you can get those players signed. It’s what drives the fan base crazy. If they are going to take that approach they can’t be letting guys like Yoro go to Man Utd, letting Kvara go to PSG, etc.

If there are only a handful of players on a list they HAVE to do a better job of locking in those players
The issue is that you believe it when the names start being dropped in the Media. I love Kvicha, but the more I thought about it, the less it makes sense unless he was to eventually replace Salah. I do not know what the hell LFC are doing in their transfer discussion or squad planning but thank god for them they have very good months under Slot so far... The possibility to lose your 3 best players for free is something I have never seen in all of the sports that I have watched over my life. I am very worried NGL but at the sametime with FSG, anything is possible, they might re-sign all of them or none of them. The whole Zubimendi fiasco from last summer is also another good example of FSG (being arrogant or careless about their transfer business). I will make a prediction, they will target Cherki on the cheap from Lyon to replace Salah.

You write this but then don't see Man City's bench two/three years ago, Barca, Real Madrid, or Bayern's benches.
Im strictly talking as Mbeumo. If I am him I would want to start. He’s clearly good enough. Especially to go to Arsenal, (nothing against them), when the guy in front of me on the depth chart is 23 years old and going no where.

If we are going to take the stance that we are only going to sign unicorns, then they need to sign the unicorns. This doesn’t mean that they need to just sign a million players and see what sticks on the wall either but, the bar either needs to be slightly lowered AND/OR they need to be a hell of a lot more aggressive. The Kvara thing was like the Luis Diaz transfer. Except flipping a guy on going to Tottenham is much different flipping a guy going to PSG

And what I am saying is that there are dumb players all the time. Kalvin Phillips syndrome is what I call it.

This is also true. But Kalvin Phillips also just took the cheque and got out of space because he wasn’t playing. Now he is washed.

Like Neymar?

Again it depends on the player’s priorities. It’s still a top team with a top manager on a team favorite to win the league. If Kvara goes Paris I’m certainly not going to be heartbroken or hold it against him.
Neymar wanted to be the lone star on his team. Turnes out he was never healthy and had to share with Mbappe. He was still often (and most time) amazing but some people forget it again and again. But yeah broken body.

He wanted to be but then as soon as he was he ended up running to join Messi? I think part of Neymar's problem was that he didn't actually know what he really wanted, which can happen easily when you're used to getting whatever you want..

Sure but I think he simply changed his stance.

Not sure what exactly is up with Varela at Porto some injuries but he he’s barely played the last month and a half. Heard maybe a contract issue but not 100% sure. Either way this should drive his price down.

- Inter Milan is preparing a bid for Zinchenko.

- Also, Arsenal is getting a percentage of the sell-on clause for Mika Biereth after he moved to Monaco from Graz.

- Arsenal looking at Mbeumo as Saka's replacement.

- Arteta is confirming that it will be hard to strengthen Arsenal in January, so I guess this season is a complete loss.
Mbuemo isn't leaving until the summer. I could see OM making a big offer. I doubt Arsenal is on his radar.

AC Milan readying a bid for Walker on a free.

Conte going after Garnacho to replace Kvaratskhelia.

Inter wants to buy Donnarumma in the summer.

Napoli also going after Pellegrini and Galeno.

Aston Villa wants to buy Donyell Malen.

Juve going after Disasi.

Everyone is available at Man United, including Hojlund and Mainoo.

Como, BVB, and Barca are all looking at Rashford.

Arsenal wants Lee Kang-in on loan, but PSG rejected it.

Bayern trying to keep Davies.

Man United, Spurs, and Juve are all after Kolo. United will have to sell players first, before buying anyone.

Mr. Versatility trying to play CB in a Back 4 now too!

Well good for him, but it won't be here. He was brought in as wingback and midfield depth.

Kind of absurd that a lot of players we bought recently as depth are now looking to leave or don't have a place. Some of these players must have thought they were coming in to the club to start, which is delusional.

I don’t think that’s the case. I just think it’s very sink or swim over there, mostly because the churn rate is extremely high. The wages and contract lengths are obviously good, but have to think there is some over-promising going on over there too. But again if they are expecting otherwise, they either have a bad agent or haven’t been paying attention

United asking price is supposedly £60 million for Garnacho and it might have gone up with today's performance.

Yoro was just recently quoted as being "untouchable". United would "listen to offers" ifa very high offer cam along and it's not very likely.

Kolo supposedly turned down United, who would need to get Rashford on loan and hopefully sell Casemiro to the Saudis to raise money for the PSR and potential purchases.
