I was bored this evening so I thought I'd look at recruiting from last year and this year.

This is not scientific; just going by Elite Prospects confirmed.

Jan 1 to May 31 2024, there were approx 119 recruits with 32 from the CHL. 27%

Jan 1 to May 31 2025, there were approx 70 recruits with 7 from the CHL. 10%

Not exact science, but looks like fewer CHL this year than last.

Tons of potential , only 2 years of Jr.A , elite skater , definitely a late bloomer .

I really like him, might have been the second best D-man after Ryan Hopkins.

That Edmundston program is the class of the MHL in every possible way.

The guy had over 100 points in his OA year. 34 points in 59 games in the ECHL last year, which is... not bad for a first pro season. Hmmmm?

Pretty solid player, Tardif was on the LOI back in Dec 2024.

And yes it wouldn't be an awful thing if Donz did a flush and fill with the Dal Tigers.

Have we seen fewer transfers in recent years ? Or am I just viewing this through UNB glasses since they get less now?
