He was active until February 22 of this year then it abruptly stopped. The last post I could see from him was quite a lot about a rather infected political issue between the United states and Canada that was brewing around that time. So it is possible he got suspended from posts that I couldn’t see or something.

As they’re yakking about the location of the tournament, I have to say the facility seems sub-par - they showed the interior of the Norwegian dressing room and it was stupidly tiny - and the fan response has been poor. Sorry, but 1,100 fans for the US semifinal is pretty pathetic. I get trying to grow the game, but a world championship deserves better.

Even markets with NHL teams already continue to promote the game within their market. Everyone does it. After all, get a kid to fall in love with the sport, and they might become a season ticket holder as an adult. So from that viewpoint I can understand it. It's pretty much fallen flat for this tournament though.
