Slovakia has shockingly made it to the semifinals for the third straight year at the U18s. Another shot to win their first medal since 2003 (four years before the players participating were born).

such unnecessary drama at the end, we should have killed the game after 40 minutes, Germany really poor perfomance individualy and collectively.

but 3 semis in the row, great job boys, this year i actually think there could be a realest chance for medal out of those 3.

As a Slovak , Im not even happy right now because that finish was just awful. 50min of flawless game and then almost leafs-like choke. But credit to Germany too. They had really good tournament.

chill out, we are talking about 16-18 year old boys, so at the tournament like this its normal to see those silly mistakes or losing a focus.

Sweden up 2-1 after the first. Swedes jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead then got very sloppy with one giveaway leading to a goal and then a number of additional good chances for Finland after that. Finland with 1:11 of carryover powerplay time to begin the second.

Swedes carried play, but some rough turnovers gave the Finns life. They’re lucky they didn’t tie it up. Rough period for Boumedienne defensively

In our case, it's happening in pretty much all age groups . But that was really selfish from Tomik. That empty net attempt resulted in icing and german goal.

Every game I've seen from the Finns reinforces my opinion that they happily shot themselves in the foot by not taking any younger forwards who already are better scorers than any from this group.

Starting our technically 4th goalie against Canada. Poletins little brother. If stebatak came then he isn't on the roster.lol. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure he was 4 on our depth chart. Good luck!
