Grier is still unproven as someone who can build a winning hockey team, but man has he ever maximized the returns for some of the assets he’s dealt.

For example, in two years he’s traded Karlsson and future considerations for three firsts and a second. A few bits and pieces added here and there, sure, but that’s the main return. Pretty damn decent, that’s for sure.
