Yeah this feels like what it could be.

As long as Mitts didn't get concussed. He didn't see a shift the last five minutes after that big hit. He got up a little wobbly too, but then skated fairly quick to pick up his stick, instead of skating off.

Also his lines mates Val and Lehky, plus the top line, and Cale and Toews didn't see a shift after that either.

Maybe just precautionary or a spotter pulled him?

Yup, been saying this all year! They rebuilt 50% of their defensive core in the offseason and it got significantly worse. Then Agent Stone went all LTIR on Heiskanen, which made it that much worse.

Just want to add - off topic - but it was literally a few hours ago, just before the Avs/Sharks game, where Friedman said he does not think Nelson to Colorado happens.

I respect Friedman, I really do, but the guy knows absolutely nothing about the Avs. He has zeeeerrrrooooo sources inside the Avs organization. Only reason he likely broke the deal is either from the Isles or a source at the league office.

The Avs are always quiet. When CMac says he is done, then they are done. Until then, we wait.

All of that love for super nerd Tulsky when the trade initially happened. They're all in, they're going for it, props for taking the risk, years in the making, finally got the true game breaker, worry about the future later, etc.

The owner probably has a lot to do with this move as well but lets see if people keep the same energy.

Personally, I think Mikko is all about the bag. He's probably quite prideful, but he also wants to get paid. Part of that pride is wanting to be paid what he believes he's worth.

Getting Stankoven back from a brutal situation is not bad by any means. Could eventually become Jarvis 2.0 and Seth is a huge fan favourite in Raleigh.
