IMO they keep Mitts and will re-evaluate the Center depth in the summer. I mean they are deep as hell right now, especially if Landy actually does come back in the playoffs which I think he is.


Imagine Landy is back game 1, we could be looking at:


Lehky - Mack - Necas
Drouin - Nelson - Nuke
Landy - Mitts - Colton
LOC - Drury - Kivi
Kelly/Wood/Vesey


That's ridiculously deep. Like absurdly deep.

Then in the summer I bet they move at least one of Colton or Mitts to recoup some of the picks we've moved out.

They're deep, but so is every team that puts their chips all-in this season.

I'd consider Avs contenders now, but by no means favorites. Florida, Dallas, and Tampa all have very solid teams. Not trying to be a pessimist, but i'm unsure if Bednar can make the adjustments needed to outcoach a team on par.

Disagree. I thought he was reasonable given the big cap jumps, and percentage of the cap, but we've been over this.
