Lots of shit left to trade.

Seems like Malinski at least is probably going for someone. Probably a defenseman since they'd definitely need one without Sam and Kylington.

Doesn't make a lot of sense to scratch him for Middleton either, if they're trying to build chemistry with Lindgren and Malinski.

Best bet is probably Carlo, though it feels like they'd want more offense on D.

But as mentioned earlier they'd need to shed more salary, so that makes it more likely it could be around Mitts+Masinki and Carlo+Marchand.

We're in the Pacific bracket right now, no? Won't be if we pass the Wild (tied in points, they have a game in hand), but if the playoffs started today I think we'd get Vegas.
Today, yes Vegas.

Still like 20 games left but the Avs are finally fully healthy and made serious additions, plus maybe more.

We SHOULD pass the Wild in the standings. That’s pretty much a guarantee to face Dallas. Unless Dallas goes on a heater and passes Winnipeg.

We’ll have to see.

Carolina and Dallas likely have their deal done, but it’s dependent on Dallas getting the extension worked out with Mikko.

This one might only be announced tomorrow morning or so after the contract is settled.
If they have an extension in place Carolina better get a huge haul. Like much bigger than what we paid for Nelson or what they gave up for unsigned Mikko.

Dallas is great, especially if they add Mikko.

But the Avs actually have depth now… and Dallas doesn’t have an MVP, or Smythe/Norris winner.

Six points from Cale Makar tonight. Look out, if he starts sniffing a chance at another cup.
