Dumoulin retained for a 2nd seems like a no-brainer over the Lindgren deal IMO. My guess is they want to re-sign Lindgren though which make it make more sense

He has been way better than he was in Colorado this season.

I want him to succeed and the Canes are probably my favouritest Eastern Conference team, but he just hasn't been good consistently since the trade. It could be a bad fit, but for a player who plays very heavy like Mikko does, it is strange that he can't find success in a system that plays a very heavy forechequing game.

Yeah I like the Canes also and don't know is it the best place for Rantanen from all the teams. But he has been really good/solid even without the points because he has to and gets to do more(no Mack).
