His most common line this year, by far (+200 minutes vs 2nd most common), has been centering Forsberg and Marchessault.

That said, the dude recently had a 13 game stretch of 0+0 (with a -15).

I'm not sure why the Avs would do that.

But it's something they could do. And then you wouldn't need to complain about wasted cap space from the Lindgren retention.

I'd be simultaneously excited and scared. He can still skate and shoot and IMO playing with Forsberg/Marchessault was a weird fit because it's three snipers. Playing with Drouin would be a good fit and Val's an animal.
