The good news is after witnessing the 2022 national championship game I trust David Carle unequivocally with in game adjustments
That’s a good point. Thank you. Carle won’t lose this game while just waiting for something to happen. He’ll adjust.

Can’t say it enough….generate some f***ing speed and they’ll hafta back off…that will flip the whole game

Yeah, I don't think it's a coaching issue like on a lot of our teams. It's whether this group of players is too stubborn to just play simple.

Hutson has been a nightmare defensively tonight. Just wandering aimlessly in his own zone

Did Buium take a single stride from behind the net, all the way to the point where he ran into Moore? It seemed he just coasted the entire way...

I hesitate to use the L-word, but the effort is no where close to what it needs to be tonight. It hasn't been perfect, but I've enjoyed this team and this tournament. I'm not sure much could have disappointed me tonight, but getting thoroughly outworked is doing the trick.

If were going to go down, go down with effort please.

Kudos to Finland for playing max-effort hockey on the other end.

Buium gives me 2016 Werenski vibes, and that's not a compliment

He was gassed, largely because he kept turning it over on that shift which got his team stuck in their own zone for over a minute. He's been very poor tonight, like should be sitting level of poor, but we don't have enough skill on the backend to actually consider that

We just need one in this period. They're starting to find their legs a bit more consistently it seems

Fair enough, but if you move your feet to begin with you spend less time chasing the play and getting gassed. Pay the price up front and you wont have to chase. Maybe Finland even has to chase you...

Giving Finns way too much space in D zone. Its led to long shifts and a goal against.
