The worst outcome for Canada just happened. A round 1 matchup against the team who bounced their ass out last year.

Always fun to beat Canada. Not a very talented Canadian team, but they are a pretty structured team. Glad they brought some meathead idiots like they normally do.

Team still has a lot to clean up, but full marks to them for showing up for the first time in the tournament. They were lifeless and structureless in the first 3 games, and they addressed both of those things tonight.

Great to see the real Augustine show up. Buium as well. Hutson was great again. Eiserman with a very strong response to his demotion.

Need to get Perreault going, he's dragging down the first line with his puck hogging.

Minnetian had a much better 3rd after a tough opening 40.

Nice to see the special teams look good for a change.

Still need to keep things simpler on the offensive side. Yeah, they hit 4 posts clean, but we also missed the net clean on a *ton* of prime scoring chances. You can't waste opportunities for extended possession and rebounds that often.

He was almost speechless. You can't tell players not to be idiots. Either they will or won't. That team is just built differently. Wish them the best but now our worries are elsewhere. So what goalie does the Swiss have to likely stop 59 shots against us Thursday?? Lol

Here's the thing. It's difficult to be taught about why being an idiot is bad when the person teaching it is also an idiot.
