WJC: 2025 Team Canada Roster Talk

Easton Cowan is awful. Lazy, gives the puck away, hangs onto it way too long and takes bad penalties. Awful so far

Worst team canada in a generation. Awful selections, awful coaching, no chemistry. Hopefully lots of people in management lose their jobs. Our Junior program has been a mess for 5-6 years.

Maybe they turn it around. But if they win it will be in spite of Hockey Canada's decisions and Dave Cameron's coaching and not because of it.

Forgot there was good reason I didn't like Dave Cameron. That reason being that he's a total idiot.

The Americans didn't impress me much. The Canadians played a really stupid game and beat themselves. I would say the Americans are ripe to be gotten back for this L but I am not sure this Canadian team can get through Czechia and Sweden to do it.

The team definitely feels like it's been set up to play tight games. I think the problem might be that there really aren't any dynamic players in the lineup top to bottom. There's very little/no offense from the back end and their offensive plays are very telegraphed. It seems like one of the lesser talented groups in recent memory.

That said, anything can happen at this age. Could easily see them winning it all because of the knockout stage.

Yeah and if you are set up to play low scoring tight defensive games....you can't take 5 or more penalties a game lol
