Mikey, Doughty
Gavrikov, Clarke
Edmundson, Spence
Moverare

Hiller won't run both Clarke & Spence because one would have to be on the second pair. (This is what I believe). To move Gavrikov back to the left side, they need a Vet RD that can play in the top 4.

Mikey, Doughty
Gavrikov, Vet
Edmundson, Clarke
Moverare

Could just play Spence & Clarke & flame out in the first round.

"I'm not really feeling it anymore so I'm stepping down as GM but don't worry, I'm leaving you in great hands. Taking over at the helm will be the great hockey mind and a close personal friend of mine.. Mr. Mark Bergevin"

And then we all light ourselves on fire in protest

I can't imagine Carolina trading Rantanen to Florida.

Florida is a team Carolina would likely have to go through to get to the SC. They lost a PO Series to them last year.

Moverare barely played last night.

Ever since Doughty came back, Hiller and company are stuck on keeping Tuna in the line-up.

Spence and Clarke should both be in and Tuna should be sitting. Maybe they are showcasing him for a trade? I hope so...

Did the PLD epic saga turn players off from the King's, or is it just clear our management is incompetent & this team is going nowhere?
For the most part, free agents don't sign here: not top flight ones, anyways.

Travel, taxes, politics (sorry, but it matters).

Run a list of the biggest free agent signings for Taylor/Lombardi/Blake and you will see it is guys at the end of their careers (Kovalchuk and only because Rob gave the extra year), former Kings, or the sweet combination of both (Duchesne, Robitaille, Blake).

Scuderi and Mitchell were cases of what was believed overpayment on the former and the willingness to give an extra year after concussion issues for the latter. There is always a catch when it comes to the Kings getting a sought after free agent.

Would have to be for a top player on Florida and not futures only. In the sense I can't see Florida being interested.

No,
Rickard Rakell should be our #1 guy atm.

1. Rakell
2. Crouse
3. Peterka
4. Zucker
5. Kuzmenko
his shooting percentage is through the roof and he is riding shotgun to Crosby. He would be right side Trevor Moore with a bit more edge.

I could have seen Blake trying to see if he could upgrade Fiala w Rantenen if Fifi didn’t have a NTC. Carolina recovers another scorer. Adding another left shot just doesn’t make sense

Rantenen probably scared Lewis would be centering his line in Blake’s attempt to add more depth to the team.

Any of you clamoring for Blake to make a move are just looking for some tequila shots and junk good for a temporary high. There is nothing in the realm of reality that can be done that turns this team into a legit threat and the only thing that he can do is make things even worse for the future.

This season is a win if we can get out of it without moving prospects/futures. Blake shouldn't be allowed to make any major decisions.

Rakell for what it would take to get him? Insanity.

This team's #1C got a two week break from travel and playing NHL hockey and somehow looks worse than he did before the break.
