Blake Out of Hell III: Back in to Hell
Selling tonight and Wednesday. Points incoming.Keep selling! Haha.
It's even worse than I thought...only three regulation losses at home and those are two of the three games I've been to.

You miss the last 5 games or so?Byfield isn't even a 2nd line center, place him on the 3rd line.
Eklund is not to be believed, but this is right in Blake's wheelhouse.

The yellow LA Kings are interested in Jake Evans, Joel Arnia nd David Savard…. this seemed to just shoot up last night and no one yet has told me anything about the return or seems to know anything about the discussions involving who Montreal would want for that I’m sure it would be draft picks plus.
You can tell when EK gets a scoop. There's a post on the weekend, or everything is spelled wrong because he's too excited.yellow? does he think it's 1930?
f*** you Eklund! No one calls me a coward!
Yep, that's what we need less mobile Defensemen and we will have one thats legit that will play 5 minutes a night even with Spence gone. If he makes a trade like that then you know Marc Bergevin is running the show and ownership is lost. You better have Kirby Dach coming back to. Better deals out there to be made for sure. Talk about crap deal that will get you out in 1st round.Needs
A) Replace Moore, he's not cut out for tight checking games. Replace with a large 3rd liner with similar points.
B) adjust out of the 11-7 by picking up a reliable 3rd pair D & extra Forward
C) Playoff Turtle hockey doesn't need fancy puck movers. Trade Spence & send Clarke to Ontario until the end of the season.
King's don't have a 2nd round pick & a 1st is too much for any of the types of players needed. So package deal where King's plug all their holes in one stop.
Armia, Savard, Evans, Fixed!
Spence, Moore & 1st out for all UFA's? We're right there.
*This is my guess on what Blake would do.Yep, that's what we need less mobile Defensemen and we will have one thats legit that will play 5 minutes a night even with Spence gone. Imho Theres nothing out of Montreal thats available that I would even trade a first or Moore for
It's like they are trying to build a team like Lombardi did, unfortunately they ain't Lombardi and that style isnt what seems to be winning right now.*This is my guess on what Blake would do.
Mikey, Gavrikov
Edmundson, Doughty
Moverare, Savard
I've suspected they'd go after a large, physical RD because they don't seem overconfident on Spence, Clarke due to the 11/7.
Last time I saw the Kings play the Blues at GWF Jason Blake scored his first NHL goal and Steve McKenna lost a fightLast time I saw the Kings play the Blues at Staples Center Dustin Brown scored a hat-trick, Alexander Frolov had a goal, and Ben Bishop was in net for the Blues.
we need legit scorers with Skill and all we see to be hearing about is 3rd and 4th liners or 3rd pair defensemen and right's on top of itlow scoring boring checkers that are actually kind of p***yes when push comes to shove?
They're Kings already baby
Why would we want clarke out there whipping the puck around the rink when we could have luke schenn getting jackhammered into the ice in his own end and then getting his face punched in
Wouldn't pay that , been hearing Montreal is looking for a 2nd, but this the Kings so they'll overpay a try a fit a square peg in a round hole. Blake and company havent shown in the last few years that they can make a value trade or let alone win oneGotta remember that there is very little chance that Hiller keeps these lines intact for that long, so it would be quite the Kingsy thing to overpay futures for somebody their analytics staff raves about - then try to squeeze him in somewhere while disrupting what was working.
I think it will be a quality 4th liner ala Laughton or Evans, not a scoring winger that gets brought in - for Zimmer and a pick.
One dimensional forwards would get little to no playing time in LA. Plus he is not good.Laine with half salary retention could be a good cheap pickup if hes fallen out of favor in Montreal.
Unironically, if we could get a vintage of Lewis from 2010 to about 2015, it would be huge for the bottom six. What we really need is about 3-4 Lewis clones.
This is some good insight on what the Kings are looking for.
