If it's going to take Clarke or Greentree to acquire Tuch, the smart move is to just move on from that idea altogether and go with a more underwhelming but far less expensive option for adding a scoring winger.

Palmeri, Bjorkstrand, someone like that who you can acquire for a couple picks and call it a day.

Greentree looks like an absolute gem of a pick and there's seriously high potential there. Clarke has a ton of upside especially if this organization decides to let him play freely. Would be a potentially pretty devastating mistake to trade either player IMO.

I love the idea of adding Tuch, but if the price is too high, the price is too high.

There is nothing the Kings can acquire sans a 4'x8' sheet of 1/2" thick steel to cover the net that will make any significant difference.

The club needs a complete overhaul from top to bottom. And it will be painful as this current club doesn't have a young Kopitar, Doughty, Quick and a couple years older Brown to build out from.

Unless the Kings are getting a bonafide 24-25 year old, no to trading Clarke, Greentree, Conmy and the goalies. I’m also partial to Wooley but not everyone is.

I think one of the goalies could be in play. Both are valuable, but only one will be the future #1.

I still think Turcotte is a much likelier trade chip than Clarke. Both have value and potential, but the Kings are trying to upgrade Turcotte's spot, not Clarke's spot.
Turcotte I don't see. Two more years at league minimum. Still has plenty of upside if he can keep his head up. Helps the cap.

Feel like they're adding a physical player so they don't have both Turcotte & Laferriere getting targeted going into the playoffs. Doesn't mean they aren't interested in both players still.

I'll do a trade boards quality trade proposal

To Buffalo: Spence, 2047 7th rounder, 2084 6th rounder, conditional 2nd in 2090
(the conditions are that the Kings must win 64 straight cups and Tuch has to win a grammy)
To be a true trade board proposal you need to work in Byfield to NYR for some bottom 6 guys & a D they're trying to dump.

Tuch is Laferriere on roids--but he won't be worth the ask. He's not a dynamic difference maker, the Kings are allergic to those, anyone that doesn't play bubblehockey on their rails is waiver fodder. He's another north-south 5v5 allstar, not a pace-changing PP threat.

Still won't stop them from giving up Clarke/Spence, Turcotte/Laf, Greentree, and a 1st.

Like all of Blake's other trades, the other side wins in 1-2 years tops. This deadline is gonna be the final nail in the coffin for this franchise's next 5 years.
