Calgary should also be rebuilding but Wolf might prevent that, although in Calgary's case, they have all the pieces for a good team in the future except a legit 1C. Prospect pool is very strong with both depth and high end defensemen talent. Just lacks that C talent.

tbh the flames situation they wanted to rebuild this year, but Wolf's play and the fact that there's no guarantee they can keep their pick thanks to Montreal is making them making some moves that scream not rebuild. However, they still have an insane amount of draft capital both this and next draft along with a strong pool. Don't the Kings really only have Greentree has a high end prospect?
I can't tell if this is a pessimistic opinion or an optimistic one.
