Seconding Moore has to go... Only fwd not a scrub that has no movement restrictions - he will free up enough cap to find a scoring winger. Plus his 31G last season and 4m AAV contract should really excite some GMs out there. Im putting Moore on the end of my fishing line and dropping it down ASAP. Sorry Thousand Oaks.

now seems as a good a time as any to reintroduce the concept of the "No Move Clause"
So you're saying re-sign Gavrikov & trade Doughty this off-season? Great idea!
Only half joking.

Moore, he did great with the breakaways of Todd hockey & cleaning up the massive number of rebounds from Arvidsson. He sucks at tight checking games. He's getting pushed of the puck by bigger players & out skated by the smaller ones, constantly losing puck battles. He isn't working for Hiller hockey.

Yes, but it couldn’t hurt to ask if Gavrikov would waive for any specific teams if they can’t figure out a deal or if he didn’t want to stay in LA.

He could tell Blake to F off or he could say I wouldn’t mind trying XYZ but at least you asked if you weren’t close.

Legit question, would you rather face VGK or Edmonton again?
I am so tired of reading Edmonton drivel about how they think the world is against them, despite getting 6 top-5 picks in 7 drafts (4 first-overalls in 6 drafts).

I'm tired of them whining about every non-call they get, despite having McDavid and Draisaitl constantly throwing dirty hits and bitch fits. Add in Nurse and Kane, and you see a chunk of their fans taking on the personality of their roster.

There are fewer insufferable fanbases I can think of, even though I know there are plenty of their fans who are rational and knowledgable. I'd rather endure a reverse sweep versus San Jose or Anaheim over another playoff game with the modern Edmonton contingent.

They're easily the dirtiest team in the league and I'm tired of pretending otherwise. Most hate-able lineup in the league, bar none. We have a tougher lineup this year but I still feel like there wouldn't be a lot of push back against them. Never understood why we never took runs at their top guys...

The whole problem is the entire organization is in such a delusional state that it doesn't matter any which way. The time to trade Trevor Moore was last offseason when Blake and Luc were fired in an alternate universe.

There isn't a trade out there that can make the Kings a top Stanley Cup contender in one shot and the Kings honestly don't have the makeup to survive much past the first round if at all, but the organization believes it to be a contender and Blake is in his final year of his contract, should have been fired last year, and is going to make his hail mary play which will likely have negative consequences on the team and its future.

It is hard to root for anything at this point given the state of the team, where management is, and the direction the team has to go. It is a predictable path that isn't going to end well almost any which way.

Obviously, I hope it works out and the Kings eliminate the Oilers and make a go of it, but the irony is they need to find someone like Trevor Moore who doesn't play like Trevor Moore without trading major pieces by a GM with a gun to his head and a history of making suspect overpayment trades for overhyped forwards that don't pan out. Just doesn't look promising.

If the Kings were up to the fight, Edmonton. But they aren't, so Vegas to change the type of lettuce on the shit sandwich.
Remember 2018 when we were all stoked to get VGK in first round and then they totally waxed us? Ha…good times.

Edmonton. Probably gonna have to slay the dragon at some point of the run anyway. I still feel better about our chances this season compared to previous. A coulole bigs ifs but if they manage home ice and if they have a good TDL, I’d pick the Kings against the Oilers. If one or neither happen then I think the Oilers take it again.

Edmonton actually feels sorry for LAK.. they even go so far as to ask the team would type of lube would they prefer is used during the series. Canadians tend to be very polite.
