yes, it would be a game with some familiar faces from our league and neighbourhood derbies are always appealing

What worked in 1992, 2013, 2018 and 2024 has to work again!

Plus I arranged make work from home days to make sure I won't be able to watch the QF

And I'm not saying I would have preferred Canada, just that I refuse to be 100% confident.

I just saw that Switzerland already set a goal record for a WC (they also got 34 in 2013, 22 and 24 but all three included a shootout win, it's the first time they score 34 actual goals).

Sad we don't go to Sweden already. Would be better to change now (and have a game there to adjust in addition to avoid the change of country before the semis) and already be in Sweden for the semis (if we beat Austria).

There is a new ranking with the 4 teams qualified for the semis. So assume SWI beats AUT, CAN beats DEN, USA beats FIN and SWE beats CZE, it would be:
1. Can 19 +27
2. Sui 19 +25
3. Swe 18
4. USA 17

Austria played really well, with a really hot goalie. Their depth is limited tough and the team should be able to control Kasper, Baumgartner and Rohrer.
