Ive got Canada alone for now, they have a 2015 vibe to me.
Then Sweden all alone too.
Then the rest of us.. Swiss, Finn's, Czechs, USA could all beat anyone.

But we'll see how it plays out! Maybe we meet in the finals again!!?

There is a documentary about that tourney and in it they said that the passing d man (kundratek) did something different in how he passes it. They claim that was the key to that play. I'd be thrilled as we'd get a silver at the very least. I don't see us going back to back and any medal would make me happy. Must win quarter. That is the game that matters the most to me. Everything else is a great bonus

I want to give some props to Fischer as well. All the guys love playing for the team the last couple of years, that is definately something he has helped create. Also I like a lot of the decisions in this tournament from him (minus Fora).

He is switching lines from time to time and somehow it always works out so far. Let's see in the QF of course, but so far so good.

We are itching for a gold after 3 silver. It‘s like pulling a wisdom tooth: gotta do it.

I didn‘t know they made a documentary about your gold and didn‘t notice anything different on the passing. I have seen all Pasta‘s career with the Bruins and it seemed his one timer from the left nr. 3847923648 or so, but I trust your word and the expert‘s. It was the only one-timer from Pasta I haven‘t enjoyed in my life. I wonder why, ahah.

So, what now? There is no obvious correct lineup going into the quarterfinal, Meier with Fiala doesn't work too well and there is no obvious top center outside of Malgin.

Meier is so tough to insert into a line. I'd play him with Malgin and Andrighetto, but only because all other options seem worse. They'd benefit more from Niederreiter, but so does Fiala.

Knak - Jäger - Riat
Schmid - Ambühl - Bertschy

So, the same lines that today after 30mins.
