WC: 2025 Switzerland

Yeah, I mean back 2022 Hischier eine Meier didn't play on the same team. Now they even played on the same line and not that bad. So I'd go for it. And Fiala - Hischier was a great fit last year.

No one knows but if he is not hurt I'm pretty sure that we could count on him

Yeah fair enough, second line can provide solid offense too with Andrighetto and Malgin

I think the fourth line with Moy and Knak could be very good if they keep playing like they did on the EHT, having a 4th line that can score goal could be a huge factor
Is it likely that Nino comes if Carolina loses?
Well Nino play for Winnipeg, so it is definitively not likely that Nino joins our team if Carolina loses. ;) And I also don't think he will join us when Winnipeg would lose the next round in 4-5 games...

Kings still haven‘t cleared Fiala, because their lack of management since Rob Blake has been released.

New plan is to have him here for the third game against the US.

Berni and Rohrbach won’t be qualified, but stay in case of injuries.

But according to „Le Matin“, he received green light from the Kings?

But I assume they are expecting Fiala to come 100%?

That's strange, Tuesday's report said he was already on his way.

And the training lineup according to Blick is
Moy - Hischier - Meier
Andrighetto - Malgin - Riat
Hofmann - Jäger - Bertschy
Knak - Schmid - Bächler/Rohrbach
Ambühl

Sven Jung, Dominik Egli and Dario Rohrbach not registered.

So 7+13 tomorrow, the only question probably if Fora or Berni play with Marti.

Frustrating end, Malgin could have done better than putting the puck out and we get tied on the penalty

Anyway, let's be realistic here, this team won't pass the quarter, we never did without Josi and Nino

The result itself is not that bad, there's no shame in taking Czechia to OT, but defensive play was simply not good. Way too many times they were passive in the defensive zone and let Czechia dictate the play, and even when they did a good job recovering the puck they lost it stupidly right away. I also don't understand why Meier played in OT. As soon as I saw he was a defender on the play I knew it was over.

One game does not make a tournament, but with how loaded Sweden and Canada are it's pretty much mandatory to finish top 2 in the group. which means winning against the US to then get a crucial game against Germany.

The result is not bad of course but like you say, we don't look sharp at all defensively and took dumb penalty and I would rather have Fiala than Meier for the offense... hope he comes...

Meier's effort wasn't enough imo, not saying that he had to score but yeah, his overall effort was really poor

Meier is the kind of player who forgets the game exists when he doesn't have the puck. If you've played, you've had some teammates like this and it's very frustrating.

Fischer said that Moser has not practiced yet, that would explain why he was the 7th defenseman and didn't play on the power play. He still had the third highest ice time.

He also said there was no news regarding Fiala.

The Meier penalty wasn't very intelligent, too.

Malgin, shit happens, I mean I wouldn't blame him for that. But that's just why I don't think Fora should be here, he has an upside and does good plays but he just has a tendency to do stupid errors at the wrong time. There was no need to go in there like this in this situation. It was not dangerous. And pairing him with Marti, I don't know. I'd rather see Berni or Moser there.

Fischer was mixing lines pretty early, probably wasn't happy with Moy, Idk why really. Ambühl got shifts there, also Andrighetto was double-shifted sometimes. He was easily the best forward. Schmid played really well, Baechler not that good, Knak was underused.

But yeah, if they want to progress, they need Fiala.

Charlin gets his first start, I hope he has a good game. Moser with Glauser, Berni 7th defenseman, same forward lines as yesterday.

Denmark wasn't very impressive yesterday, I hope Switzerland can get the job done. They have always been bad against the home team.
