2025 Summer Transfer Rumors and Discussion Closed Window

No, you actually missed the memo. Newcastle have no incentive or desire to sell him, but now that there's been a random rumor linking him to Liverpool you are supposed to say its a real possibility for Liverpool, but he'd never want Arsenal because reasons.

Just like Zubimendi would never choose Arsenal over Liverpool ;)

Obviously I was joking. Though I think Liverpool is the more desirable destination right now.

I don't think he's moving, but I also did not believe Wirtz.

If Isak moves, its after he gets an agreement to stay one more I think. Then who knows.

So much for all those millions Leverkusen were going to bleed out of English clubs on a Quansah sale. Just financial f***ery as part of the Wirtz sale. He'll get flipped back to Liverpool for a 10-15M profit in a couple years and it basically becomes a Quansah loan and a 150M £ sale for Wirtz.

Everyone, including the good LFC sources, are saying that LFC will make a bid if they get anything resembling encouragement to do so. Again, this all depends on Newcastle’s business and probably won’t happen until August if it does happen but it’s not exactly frivolous because everyone keeps stating this. And LFC can afford to wait for Newcastle to blink

LFC converted Gravenberch into the role Zubimendi would have done. Gravenberch won young player of the year and LFC won the Premier League. I think we turned out okay. Don’t know if he choose Arsenal over LFC, because LFC no longer had interest

—Palace looking to sell Guehi (who I believe is entering the last year of his contract) and replacing him with Ousmane Diomande.
—Bayern apparently keep attempting to get Nico Williams.
—Madrid linked with yet another CB, Christhian Mosquera.

Desperation last gasp with Williams. He's not going to Bayern, and they're now also being linked to about any remotely available winger with a pulse.

- Quansah going for 40 million is absolutely horrendous for Bayer. I am not saying he doesn't have talent, but they're spending 40 million for a backup quality CB. A backup effin' CB!!!!!!

- This report is from Ben Jacobs, who doesn't do a lot of Arsenal stuff, but he's the one reporting all of this... Supposedly, Arsenal is in talks with both Gyokeres and Sesko camps. Each is a bit different, for example, Sesko has a better wage structure for the club, but is less willing to go. He is happy in Germany and isn't completely open to leaving. Meaning, RB wants his release clause or higher, which Arsenal is countering by saying he isn't worth that (from the season he just had). Now, in regards to Gyokeres, he wants to GTFO, which is making the move a lot easier to conduct, even if Sporting lied about clubs not needing to take his release clause. The problem is that he wants a lot higher wages than Benjamin, which Arsenal doesn't really fancy as they have a wage structure they want to keep. It will be hilarious when Arsenal overpays for one of these blokes and then Liverpool buys Isak next/two years from now.

- The Telegraph says that Arsenal have inquired about Madueke from Chelsea. I have always been a Noni fan, but going from heavy Nico rumours to Leao rumours to now wanting Madueke would be such an f***ing Arsenal thing to do and would be so depressing. This is why we don't win trophies, because of nonsense like this. Martinelli just should not be a starter anymore at all, and Madueke doesn't move the needle here in improvement or even surpassing Gabriel in some aspects.

You don't think if he was truly available, Arsenal would be like Mongolians in China for the past month for him lol?

Huh, last report I saw that the current sticking point with Šeško was that he wants too much in wages. Of course I get these kids are making a big move and want to cash in, but I think Arsenal has shown that if you play well for us, we will keep you satisfied. Paying big wages right of the bat is Chelsea/United territory and look where that's got them.

Retirement?

Don't think he wants to leave the city. His family likes it too much. Maybe he accepts the role of backup if he wants to extend cheap

I would like to point out that this guy just blew up the Polish national team because he didn't like someone else being made captain after he decided he didn't want to play for the last NT break. It does not exactly speak to him being inclined to decline gracefully

The misdeeds of Rashford and Garnacho have been overblown.

It looks like ManU aren't going to put realistic prices on any of their players. They are asking 70 mill for Garnacho while offing less for Mbeumo. Like common. Sell somebody to show you are serious. The lack of anything getting done in the last 2 weeks is not a good look.

I think Rashford could come back. Amorim gave players at Sporting second chances. Garnacho though ? No. He's an urgent sell yet look at the price they put on him. Same with Antony. Antony has made concessions on his wages yet there's still no deal in sight.

I think the issue there is more that Antony specifically wants Betis and Betis doesn't have money to spend on transfers.
