I still do know what LFC are doing this summer. They have not spent almost nothing for years and they are about to drop 150M on ONE player (they could legtimately get 3 great players at that price). I am having more and more a bad feeling about this one, maybe a reverse Coutinho situation. I love the player but that is insanely risked for a club with other key positions to fill. I am starting to have cold feet with this one. He better become a generational talent.

Leverkusen seem very hard to negotiate too with for a player that his other option is to join a direct rival at the same price.



Maybe LFC should start reconsidering their purchasing strategy. It seems so anti FSG this purchase.

Actually Bayern had the same offer as PSG and Doue hesitated to join them. Fair play to them they did all they could.

He has Italy as well. They've been trying to get him for a while. I'm sure some italian fans criticizing him these days would change their tune if he'd switch nationalities.
Anyway, Cherki I think has been set on France for a long time. He has taken a lot of shit by algerians or most likely french-algerians for not picking Algeria. He doesn't seem to care. If he never plays, maybe he'll change his tune. I doubt it.
DD though has too much offensive players and Cherki will have a tough time playing under DD. Usually 3, maybe 4 offensive players among Mbappe, Dembele, Doue, Barcola, Olise, Thuram, Cherki, etc...

Doesn't matter. The difference in foot speed and movement , intensity and power is obvious. At least to me. I was just enjoying the clips of Mbeumo and Cunha and expected to be in awe of Gyokerez too but it just doesn't hit the same

As a fellow United fan, this feels like when sharks fans tried to say Zetterlund was as good as Timo. None of these guys really fill the same role. It’s like comparing apples to oranges.

The clips I posted were the last 80 shots of all 3 players. Not highlights , not goals , nothing like that.

The Premier league has the best field surface so there's a difference there. But to me , Mbeumo and Cunha's movement is just a step above.

They have completely different assignments and movement responsibilities, it can't really be compared. I would suspect Cunha's movement also looks superior to Haaland's if broken down the same way.
