2025 Summer Transfer Rumors and Discussion Closed Window

When we sell Elliott/Diaz/Nunez I'm very interested in whether or not we want Alvarez or Osimhen. Or Ekitike. Really can't imagine they're just going to sell those guys and stop there. Slot said he didn't want to have a small squad again.

Would have to think the near 200m that they spent in January hindered them here

That’s why I mentioned PSR, but I don’t know. Per Transfermarkt they only spent around 100 million all season with those factored in. Money aside, they weren’t great buys either way.

Respectfully, I don’t think Alvarez would be interested leaving Spain. Atleti certainly wouldn’t be interested in selling either. You’d have to at least 100 million and that still probably isn’t enough.

Theyre going for it.

But I think they balance what they’re spending to the value they’ve got in players they did buy. Like if you can get top level players for 35, you can afford to overpay elsewhere

Yeah not sure on the last part. There’s been some internet rumble about him being interested. I don’t expect it but you never know. Maybe he liked the EPL but not being second or third fiddle up front.

I can understand the frustration from Bayern, some think Wirtz is the best German talent this century. I think Slot was just a much better salesman than Kompany on the future of the projects and how he'd be utilized.

He offers so much to LFC if it becomes official. The first world class creative player since prime Coutinho. Trent and Salah are amazing offensive weapons but they don't unlock defenses in this way. Will be interesting to see the different formations Slot will experiment with next season. He went with two 10's against Man City and I can see that happening more frequently. Wirtz as a false 9 in the Firmino role also possible but not sure that's the best use for him. I don't mind the idea of more rotation between Szoboszlai and Gravenberch, who seemed to wear down later in the season.

If they start off the window with Wirtz, Frimpong and Kerkez that's just ridiculous. Richard Hughes is just doing amazing work, following up the Slot hire with this stuff.

Bro, I am pretty sure that would be their entire window lol. Not just a "start."
It’s incredibly likely Kelleher leaves which will bring in some money. Then Nunez, Gomez, Elliott, and Tsimikas leave. You can’t lose four and bring in three. I also think one of Jota/Diaz are leaving. The squad depth wasn’t great this season and the manager already publicly stated we need more players. Kinda the opposite of how Klopp would play down the need for players.

They are going to sign another player or two. If five outfield players leave we’ll probably sign five. Then the way this club works we probably won’t sign anyone else until 2027 and that’s ok.

If Alvarez is going anywhere is to FCB. Atleti is not selling this year for sure, they left that very much clear

Reactions: Power Man

Garnacho's brother grew into a bigger issue than expected with his constant post-game outbursts on social media. And Alejandro himself has definitely not helped his cause.

Yeah bro. I'm sure the player will perform when he has been told to f off.

Teams should and will low-ball them
Again missing the defining part. "if they receive an acceptable offer."

And also, he's undermined two managers now and doesn't seem to be learning. He's displaying all the negative behavioral aspects of Cristiano Ronaldo with out the stats to back it up.

Is he even going to be a starter for them, unless Monaco sells someone from the attacking positions? I assume Biereth and Balogun are above him in the pecking order, maybe he could take Embolo's minutes.
Akliouche is likely gone.
