2025 Summer Transfer Rumors and Discussion Closed Window

That and Napoli wanted to insure cover for KK for their actual league run. They’re better of getting Dominguez at a fraction or soule

I respect Alice but that's excluding 2025 loses and quite possibly next year (2026) loses too since they will miss European football. Selling Garnacho + Rashford might just barely cover PSR for them never mind spending another £400M on top of it + the following year amortization.

They're not spending that much, the f***in asshole goes around banning staff workers from all kinds of bullshit. The only thing that's really going to save their club is the academy. In their position you can't buy from the top shelf anymore, the players needed to win quickly won't go there.

There's also a couple player sale suggestions there that are frankly ridiculous. Hojlund would go for free before he'd go for 40 million. Antony performed well in a league where the teams have no money. Not sure what value Sancho has anymore.

Brendan Maguire who also knows this stuff is apparently backing her up. Also, she is literally saying it's speculative and based on sales. United are already set have more income, if Real activate the release clause of Alvaro Carreras from Benfica. 40% of the sale profit is going to be a pretty number.

Enzo Barranechea is wanted by Villarreal, Valencia, Real Betis and Atleti of course.

Meaning while his cousin Enzo Fernandez is still linked with Madrid.

What is the current status of Man United for PSR. I highly doubt they have a cleansheet.

The last rumours I saw were that Diaz declined Barca and was happy in Liverpool, but it seems the smoke won't go away. ESPN and other top ones are still declaring that Barca and Diaz are talking the last couple of days.
Any Diaz interest from Barca is irrelevant until they put some real money on the table. If they pay up I’m pretty sure LFC would sell, but they aren’t going to do Barca a favor

It's correct because if you book 95M in profit, then you're able to spend 5x that because of amortization.

So, even if their books are garbage and they're 5M away from the loss threshold, they could still spend 475M and be compliant with PSR. However, it is shortsighted, because that 95M would be on the books for the following season, when they wouldn't have the 95M in profit to offset it. And from what I gather, the season coming off the books next year is one of the more beneficial seasons for PSR. So, instead of being 5M away from the loss threshold, they might be over the threshold and thus would require more sales (especially given that they will not be getting any European revenue this next season).

He's very easily replaceable. This is Coutinho 2.0.
I wouldn’t say easily but I think they would have some options with the Barca money. He’s probably LFC’s starting #9 right now.

If LFC somehow pull off the Wirtz transfer, (or get another similarly priced midfielder), they aren’t spending big on a 9.
