Its not so much the players but the insufferable fan base. They are back and as bad as ever. Keep bringing up the amount of cups they won. Living in the past.

I gotta agree. They are a likable team and play the game the right way. Even though I'd personally root for a team of Dahmer, Bundy, Manson, and Gacy over them, they are a likable team.
This 100% as I enjoy watching some of Montreal's players in Hutson and Caufield.
The fan base is completely puke inducing, so its Washington for me.

I view this Habs team just as unlikeable as other iterations, we just haven't had a series against them yet.
Ovechkin and Wilson on the prowl gives them an element that no other team including Florida and Edmonton have, which is the ability to take out almost any player with
playoff style hits (dirty). That said, their main weakness (no top Center) won't allow them to win it.

Yeah -- It's so early in the playoffs though --- teams that look great in round one often look like trash in round two.
If I had to bet on the cup winner, I'd go:
Florida
Colorado
Dallas
Carolina
But they all have flaws and one of Dallas or Colorado is done in the next 5 days or so.
The rest in some jumbled order that I don't have the energy to try to handicap.

That hit was great, just a hard, heavy ass hit.
This post and the 927 seems similar!!! Habs keep bringing how much they won and their glory and Bruins fan whinning on game 7 in 1979 and 2014.
Fan base are what they are, and usefully pretty emotional.
I have not been impressed with the PbP guys for TNT in the playoffs so far. It's mostly their voices and tone. I swear, I watched one game where the guy sounded more excited over dump ins than actual goals that were being scored.
I didn't watch the Edm-LAK game. Are you referring to a particular game or hit (Wilson) or more generally? Thanks!

Yeah. Hopefully TNT can take in feedback and come back with a better product next year. I honestly think they could just tweak the audio mixing right now and the product would be way better.
