Toronto beats the Avs. This is their chance...Who did you pick to win it all? I had Colorado beating the Caps. To your point I could see TO win the east though. They will steamroll Ottawa

In a vacuum, I agree, but the set up for these playoffs is perfect for the Leafs on both sides. Edit: Especially if Tampa beats FLA, and the cats have played poorly since the deadline...If Colorado dosen't kill themselves getting through the much tougher west they would roll through the Leafs if they ever met.

They can and have beaten Tampa. I am not so sure about FLA, but as I just typed, the cats have played poorly since the deadline. I do not like their additions, including Marchy.I don’t see the Leafs beating either Florida team.
I mean, at some point they probably will make a 3/4 series deep run, but until I see it, I just can’t envision it.

PP for the Caps…..?
PP for the Caps…..?
Exactly - feels like the 70’s and 80’s all over againDefinitely
Definitely the right call….I just wanted to see the Habs get hosed and lose on a bad call.
Credit to Montreal - since they scored their first goal they have out played the Caps and now tied 2-2
Goaltending is their weakness, but the rest sure sets up well.Every year is new…..but if you bet against Toronto for the past, what?
57 years, you’d be rich.
Not a believer in any team with their goaltending and who relies on Morgan Rielly to play big minutes.
Only time will tell of course.

They were awarded a PP on what was quite possibly the softest penalty I’ve seen all season while the Caps were dominating, scored, then a two-hander on Wilson from Anderson was ignored by same ref that called the slash, which happened right in front of him. 100% how I expected the final 5-10 minutes to unfold.Credit to Montreal - since they scored their first goal they have out played the Caps and now tied 2-2
The d is only a little above average, but given good matchups, I think the d and a better coach is adequate to the task. I can't stand big chief pukeface, but he is a fairly good coach. Not sold on their defense at all, personally.
Overtime is on.
Caps went final 11:31 without an SOG.
