2025 STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS

If Edmonton can't get over the hump this year or next, I really wonder what would keep McDavid in Edmonton at that point. Like Marner in Toronto this year. They fall short again...at some point picking your location and just trying somewhere not associated with losing every single year has to be appealing.

I mean Edmonton did just make it to game 7 of the finals literally last year

hardly the same situation as Toronto

Obviously they have Messier on there for his cheap shot expertise. Who knows predatory plays better than him?
i seriously miss the days of TSN ruling over nhl broadcasts with the mckenzie n duthie crew .
bettman / nwo redesigning nhl broadcast with these new circus acts is a joke wrecking nhl .
launch b nasty / messier / pj out of earths orbit

tsn is still our only hope to get it back , though i better add cbc with mclain , freidman , bieksa , j bot , rudey are excellent = CANADIANS SHOULD BE THE ONLY ONES CONTROLLING NHL BROADCASTS

I just remember when the Wings had some trouble getting over the hump finally. But ya know they still had deep playoffs runs. Leafs have won one friggen round...

It's astonishing, even if they end up winning they let it go further and have trouble closing it out. The next team if they don't blow it is another beast.

1-13 in elimination games.

Well, New Jersey sure looks like a house of cards without los hermanos Hughes. It's a major loss for sure but their [lack of] depth has been exposed.
I am a big Jack Hughes guy, but you do have to wonder if he can really stay healthy. I would consider shifting him to the wing as well moving forward. Anything to keep him healthier and bring out more offense.

The Devils would intrigue me a lot if Larkin was to demand a trade. I like some of their young pieces.

We could ask for Nemec for sure there with other pluses.

2 playoff series wins since 2002...

les habitant eliminated . shall draft 17th where we woulda drafted if beat them out .
instead we have a 5% @ :tinker:#2 or 85% @ #12 .
i will take it , that 5 percenter could be a organization changing occurence

Man, this is only obvious in hindsight, but i wish they'd kept Perron.

But if you asked me in the off-season if I'd rather have Tarasenko or Perron, I would've gone with Tarasenko everytime.

Perron seems to have grown a new pair of legs in the playoffs. He's been highly visible this series.
