2025 STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS

I have a feeling Dallas is gonna be an early exit...7 straight losses to end the reg season, Robertson out for the 1st round, Heiskanen out, a rusty Seguin, and a Benn that appears to be on the back end of his career.
Man I’ve done Dallas dirty…Shame on me - them boys got some fight!

For all the hysteria and jealousy titled towards Montreal and Ottawa. It's not unthinkable that both will get swept.
Might be a little disingenuous to hint that either team hasn't been in the series even if they're swept. Even more disingenuous to allude a young team gained nothing from the experience. (3 OT's in 5 games between the teams)

I think most people would have liked to see the Red Wings play good enough in the Regular season like Montreal only to get swept in four tough games. More than likely means we're not having crazy convo's about trading Larkin/Debrincat.

yeah, but one of those teams is against Toronto. How bad do you have to be to not take at least one of those games from the Leafs in the playoffs? :D

Careful, the bad mouthing is going to give them the Karma to win it all if we all keep piling on.

There are very few people that process the game as fast as Laine Hutson does. He's been one of my favorite players to watch since I first saw him.

Yup. People can talk about two-way play and size/toughness all they want, but the Wings don't have a dman who can control the game like Hutson does.

The Walman trade making a little more sense now, he's been so bad for the Oilers lol

Nice seeing some fight (literally) from the Habs tonight...Series may sway now in the Habs favor as Caps netminder Thompson is likely injured.

Not been impressed by Caps this series. Could see them taking a major step back next season as players start regressing back to their actual level.
Maybe there 2nd best forward has been out all series along with a top four defender.

That'd doom the Red Wings.(most teams)

With Washington, I don't think they were ever the best team in the East. I think that was always Florida. The lousy thing is that I think Tampa was the #2 and it sucks we're getting this series in the first round. An ECF with these two could have been fun. Same thing is probably happening in the west with Dallas/Colorado.

Seeing the Habs run 4 lines that all compete hard it’s painfully obvious how bad our depth is.
Doesn't look like much to me, a lot of those guys had Tarasenko or Compher numbers. It's not the team I would be jealous over. They made it in because certain guys went nuclear, and got goaltending. Even then they limped in.
