Leaf Killer struck again. So I'm pretty sure we get that first rounder now. I know some people are saying he still has to play in half of all the games but I think it was win this round and play in at least half of those games. The rest doesn't matter. I could be wrong but I think that's it.

Anyway, Leafs out I'm happy. Don't really care about the rest now.

He's wearing the wrong jersey now, but this still feels right

Good thing Leafs fans still have their Wendel Clark and Doug Gilmour body pillows to keep them warm at night.

Of course a team of generational losers greatest accomplishment in the last half century is a bunch of guys losing slightly later in the postseason.

Would we even want Marner on the Bruins?

Tough question.

He would certainly not be the first guy at his level to underachieve with his first club, only to win elsewhere.

But, I see the other side of it too.

To me, it would be really hard to say no to guy you can pencil in for 90+points a season for the next 5 years, though.

I am a big believer in culture. Toronto’s culture is losing.

I’m not saying the Bruins are the early 80’s Islanders, but they’ve been legit for most of the last 7/8 years.

Bring him in, see how he does in a new setting.

Grab a couple more veteran leaders who have been there, and I believe you’ll see a different guy.

How long has that core been together, and they have never made it past the second round. I mean how chances do you get? Honestly they need to rid themselves of the core. Its terrible. Get all you can get for them and rebuild with winners. Better chance building around Knies

90 points, here? No way in hell.

I dunno.....a guy making $14MM(??) maybe wouldn't be the easiest to coach.

I get the risk.

But this team needs a talented forward more than anyone right now.

Sometimes you’ve got to go outside your comfort zone.
