Red Sox/MLB 2025 Spring Training

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

“I always have to remind people like my dad and others, these uniforms are not for you,” Kennedy said. “They are for the players and for the next generation of fans.”

Can we have blackouts when these are worn?

I'll accept awful connect jerseys if those disgusting red thirds can be improved from "garbage a single A ball team uses in spring training" to "close to a major league jersey."

Kelly and Weissert are on the team, I particularly like Kelly and think he can be a very good reliever for us

One last spot open- could be Criswell, Bernardino, or an outside DFA/trade

Chris Murphy is another forgotten arm who might make an impact. According to Bradford he just threw the hardest pitch of his life rehabbing from TJ. Fresh liggy goes a long way! First live BP for him is early April

Amazing when they use tendon from leg how they usually gain more velocity. Some nutty parents put their kids under knife to gain that advantage .

Campbell with another bomb to center. This team may not be good thanks to their bullpen, but watching the youngsters will be fun. Yay.

Improving the bullpen is the easiest, in season fix to make.

If we get to July and the rest of the team is good, I’m sure they’ll improve it.

'I know I’m in the minority but I hate green, so I’m sure I won’t like them.
I am not a fan of green either, but I would not call it "controversial" either. Sam Kennedy would say the sky is green and the grass is blue if it meant a bit more publicity. Be quiet Sam. Fermer la bouche.

It is the easiest fix but it is a pile of garbage almost top to bottom. Aroldis, Weisert, BERNARDINO no bueno........Hendricks, God bless, but the odds are against him.

Whitlock needs to come back to the pen asap. Slaten is not bad. Kelly has a good fastball, but I bet he regresses a little. it just is not a good group.

Releivers can also be pretty inconsistent/variable --- some years a guy is lights out, the next -- terrible.

Who knows who will be there in September?

I'm just happy for a legit starting 9 and a potentially good rotation.

"On Tuesday, former MLB general manager and current insider for The Athletic Jim Bowden predicted that the Red Sox would trade for Alcantara during the 2025 season, sending a four-player package to the Marlins that includes starting right fielder Wilyer Abreu and three very promising prospects".
