NFL: 2025 Schedule Thread

The league has spared you all. The Saints do not have any night games, and they do not go to abroad. They do not play MNF or TNF. All of their games are Sunday regionals.

After losing both our coordinators and having the second toughest schedule in the league, I might just be happy if Detroit actually gets in as a wild card team.

5 out of the first 6 are tough for the Ravens. Then bye, then a pretty easy schedule for the remainder (aside from inter-division).
For all teams, they eye the first month of the schedule with the hope that they can be at least 2-2 at the end of Sept. You never want to be in a hole early at 1-3 to start. Uphill climb for the rest of the season. 9-8 and you are hoping that you win tie breakers. 10-7, most likely in but never assured (see Seattle last year).

Travel is key for clubs, plus short weeks. Teams also hope for bye weeks right around the middle of the season from week 8-12.

Always knew that the Cardinals were going to come this year to Tampa so I could go see them in person. Just a question of when exactly it would be.

Very pleased with the result. Was praying that it wouldn’t be a night game. Even a 4:00ish game could have been mildly annoying, so I’m pleased that it’s penciled in as a 1:00 game. Being the Sunday after Thanksgiving is just the cherry on top.

I know it could still get bounced around with flexible scheduling, but I don’t think a random Cardinals vs. Buccaneers game in week 13 has much of a chance of that happening. Also no chance whatsoever of being flexed to Thursday since that’s Thanksgiving Day.

Write those plans in pen. You're good.

I hate to say it @End of Line but 0-6 is a real possibility

Does the Tomlin no losing season flex end this year.

I don't see 0-6 as even remotely realistic.

Jets, Patriots and Browns probably aren't good teams yet and Cincinnati, Seattle and Minnesota all have major questions.

I'd bet on them being somewhere like 2-4 or 3-3 at that stage. Maybe 4-2 if stuff falls into place?

The Eagles dont have back to back home games all regular season. First time ever the Super Bowl winner doesnt. I would think in general this is pretty rare.

When you are a premier NFL team, you won't have the more regimented schedule, similar to KC. The fewer stand alone games you have, you then know that you are locked into your normal 1 PM window each sunday, save for your TNF matchup.
