I'm sure if he's massively over performing his contract by then, the team doesn't enact those two club options. Bad business to do so and have a disgruntled player. What they really are is exclusivity window for negotiating the big extension.

Dewey was listed at 6'3", Rice 6'2", Lynn 6'1". You're right, he either shrunk or they padded his height.
